Recently, the US Chamber of Commerce and other organizations have been studying the “Tech Gap”, or the effects of adopting new technologies.
The landscape has changed for most businesses, and while just two decades and a half ago only large enterprises had the budget for email servers and file servers, now in just a blink of an eye the cloud has leveled the playing field even more than it has ever been. With levels of technologies that were once only accessible by larger organizations, now easily adaptable by smaller businesses it’s a wonder more businesses that are not large conglomerates do not readily adopt these technologies that can present great opportunities for them.
According to the study by the Chamber of Commerce, businesses that describe themselves as being in good health and early adopters of technologies are connected to stronger outcomes and have increased confidence as a result. With new technologies in security, mobility, collaboration, Client Relations Management (CRM), marketing and sales, there are opportunities to be sought at reaped in just about every aspect of any business. All that is generally needed is the courage to pursue what may be a dramatic change and the guidance by a trusted technology expert to choose the right technologies to adopt and the best way to do so.
By all accounts, it seems pretty clear that early adoption to technologies can result in the positive growth and even bottom-line outcomes every business is striving for. Download this infographic on “Confident Adopters of New Business Technology” to get the full picture.
